Outdoor Activities Instructor

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of our outdoor activity offerings, including kayaking, canoeing & paddle boarding, raft building, archery, battle archery, axe throwing and air rifle shooting. There is also an opportunity to be involved with the other aspects of the business, including our accommodation and hospitality side of the business.

You will need to use organisational skills and effective communication skills to manage the booking system and liaise with customers.

Key Tasks:

- Delivery of excellent, engaging and fun sessions
- Preparation, planning, co-ordination and evaluation of the sessions
- Adhere to risk assessments and ensure health and safety during sessions
- Kit maintenance checks (ensuring the safety of equipment)
- Fixing kit when required ( with support and guidance)
- Activity bookings (including school groups & parties)
- Customer relations

The most important things are that you have a positive attitude, confidence with customers and talking to groups, and have a genuine love for outdoor pursuits. You’ll need to have a willingness to pitch in where required due to the diversity of our site. This is a real opportunity for someone to experience a range of departments and gain a great range of skills and knowledge.
