**Technical Sales Account Manager, Manufacturing, West Midlands, £50,000 - £60,000 Basic + Bonuses + Excellent benefits + International travel.**

This **Technical Sales Account Manager**role is working for an incredibly well established manufacturer of mechanical engineering products who have been leading their industry since the 1800's and are an instantly recognisable name in the engineeringworld.

With a global turnover of over £150 million, this engineering success story are looking for a **Technical SalesAccount Manager** to manage an established list of distributors in their network across the UK and overseas. This firm currently enjoy an excellent reputation and have a rough market share of about 70% of theirindustry and are known globally for high quality and prestige.

This firm work with the biggest names within the defence, surveillance, aerospace, mining, oil, gas, water and power generation industries. Client meetings are exciting, interesting and you will be involved in the some of most exciting projects within theengineering world.

This is a true relationship sales role, where you will be working with Tier 1 distributors from around the world with a view of solving their problems, consultatively selling into their pain points and providing win - win solutions. This role does involveregular international travel.

Unusually, you can be from any **technical sales background,** but it is essential that you can talk about technical concepts in a fluent way. It does not matter what you have sold before, but you **MUST** have experience of taking a product onto a client site, showing them how it works and consultatively show how it can help with different parts of client processes.

If you also have experience of managing a distribution network, that would be highly advantageous.

You will be a sophisticated and smart-thinking corporate sales professional, and your experience is likely to be from a large, multi-national or pan-European corporation. The first month will involve spending considerable time in their high tech laboratoryunderstanding the products to allow you to become an expert.
