Experienced Packer

At Company Bakery, we are renowned for our exceptional sourdough and pastries, crafted using traditional techniques and sustainable ingredients. We're dedicated to delivering these freshly baked goods throughout Edinburgh every day. As we expand, we are looking for a self-motivated and independent Experienced Packer to join our vibrant team.

**Job summary**

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an environment where they can come to work, grab a coffee, and set their own playlist to work to their own rhythm. As an Experienced Packer, you will ensure our delicious products are ready for delivery each morning, wrapping up your workday by 8 AM—before most people have started theirs. **Key responsibilities**
- Efficient Packing: Accurately and efficiently pack bakery orders, ensuring products meet our quality standards and are ready for timely delivery.
- Supply Preparation: Organize and prepare packing supplies for the next day, enabling a streamlined workflow.
- Order Coordination: Arrange orders for pickup by our delivery team, ensuring smooth and accurate dispatch.
- Inventory and Reporting: Track stock levels and report any discrepancies to help maintain precise inventory control.
- Maintain a Tidy Workspace: Keep the packing area clean and orderly to facilitate a smooth and efficient packing process.

**Requirements**:

- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Reliable and committed to early morning start times.
- Ability to commute to Musselburgh.

**Availability**:

- Early morning shifts from 4 AM to 8 AM, seven days a week.
- Ideally available for at least five shifts per week, Monday through Sunday, or four longer shifts helping out with KP/cleaning once packing is done.
