Guildford, United Kingdom Mojiworks Full time

We’re looking for a Game Producer to join us as we grow from our success with Chef Showdown on the Discord Activity platform, to develop brand new prosocial multiplayer games that will bring millions of players around the world together.

You’ll be central to helping us be productive in a highly collaborative, creative, & cross-discipline environment. You’ll use your project management skills, empathy, and deep knowledge of game creation & software development on a daily basis.

**Your role**:

- Assist the game director to ensure the quality of the game vision & development
- Support the team’s management of user stories, milestones, and our roadmap by ensuring they are well specified & well communicated using our custom Notion based tooling
- Identify development issues on a daily basis and problem-solve them with the team
- Help manage outsourcing, including identifying opportunities for us to use it to maximise our effort whilst maintaining a high degree of team ownership
- Help the team manage daily builds & weekly releases, including aspects of QA & rollout monitoring
- Help run daily & weekly team moments, including team syncs, reviews, retros, and show & tells.
- Be active in helping Mojiworks culture & community, including identifying areas for improvement and help to make & evaluate those changes

**We’re looking for**:

- Proven experience on a variety of game projects in a producer or project manager role
- Someone highly collaborative, focused on helping people do their best work together in a culture that believes high performance comes from exceptional support
- Experience of both success and failure, and showing an ability to learn from both
- Understanding of free-to-play business models & their impact on development priorities

**About Us**

Mojiworks is a leader in games for Discord, a pioneer of next generation social games, and a 7x winner of GamesIndustry.biz’s Best Places To Work awards.

Since 2016 we’ve led the way in using modern social apps as places for a new type of game. Played in the online places where friends already hang out, our games are designed to strengthen friendships and start new ones through the joy of playing together.

Mojiworks is an online & remote company, with an administrative HQ in Guildford, UK - a renowned game industry hub. We’re distributed across locations, and highly collaborative using Slack text & video. We pride ourselves on our strong personal connections & community (which we put a lot of effort in to).

We believe that being online, rather than physically centralised, makes us the best team: we can have diverse talent from all over the world; better support individual working needs; and lift everyone up to have the same opportunity for impact & collaboration.

We work flexibly, but coordinate around Europe/Middle-East/Africa timezones.

**Benefits**
- Remote and flexible working culture
- Regular online socials and quarterly in-person onsites
- £/€3K annual working environment stipend ‍
- £/€1k annual self-development budget
- £/€1k annual events budget
- Health insurance
- Share options
- Inclusive sick pay policy, including menopause and period
- Mental health support through Spill
- 25 days of annual paid time off ️
- Health club subsidy
- Individual financial coaching with Octopus
- Matched charity donations

**Diversity**

Our commitment to building a team as diverse as our players has seen us win GamesIndustry.biz’s Diversity Award twice - the only company to do so - in recognition of our efforts both internally and in the wider industry. We eagerly welcome differences in background, life experience, and culture, knowing that this helps us make the most creative & high-performing team possible. If this speaks to you, we encourage you to apply.
