The Labour Ward at SFT's ward activity is variable and requires the Labour Ward Coordinator to remain reactive and responsive to an ever changing situation across the Maternity service. As a fast paced clinical environment, the Labour Ward coordinator will be responsible for leading a core team of experienced and highly skilled staff who provide expert care to the low and high risk client. In addition the Labour Ward Coordinator will support midwives from the midwifery led pathway, preceptors and community and postnatal areas.
