This role will involve being responsible for spares projects, including the smooth execution and timely delivery of a varied portfolio of complex hydraulic and rotating spares components to the highest standards of safety and quality.

**The Role**:

- Responsibility for the control of spares projects, on time, within budget & to the highest standards of safety and quality
- Quality documentation, inspection reports, work packs etc.
- Responsible for the sound financial performance and profitability of assigned spares projects & work with the tendering, contracts & re-engineering team to prepare costing and work plans for quotations, procurement & tenders
- Requisition of materials, spares and third-party inspection services to meet delivery requirements
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, engineering & management teams

**The person**:

- Time served mechanical fitter / machinist with recent experience in a similar role
- Experience of machine shop roles (procurement / purchasing / dealing with suppliers)
- Ability to manage spare manufacturing projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Strong financial and commercial understanding
