**Would you relish the opportunity to teach students on the new Legal T-level course within a college setting?**

We require a motivated and experienced practitioner to help teach upon the new Legal T-level course here at the college. Whether you have experience in the field and want to move into teaching, or you an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge, this role may be what you are looking for.

The course is moving into its second year and is moving from strength to strength. Students will decide between two pathways within their legal T-level: a crime or business pathway. Students will learn about core concepts in year one before delving deeper into their pathway of choice in year two. The uniqueness of the T-level qualification is that it requires students to complete industry placements within a relevant legal setting alongside their studies.

You would also have the opportunity of teaching A level learners about the discipline of Law, enhancing their knowledge of the legal system, criminal law, law making, tort law, the nature of law, and contract law. The A level course aims to dive deep into the legal system, journeying through an analysis of criminal acts, the legal implications of crime, and preventative measures.

You would teach surrounded by a committed and supportive team who will readily share resources and best practices, and offer support whenever required. Within this environment we would help you further develop as a practitioner, as you in turn develop your students.

The post holder will be expected to:

- Teach to a high standard (or demonstrate the willingness to learn if coming from the legal sector), and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision
- If you do not have a teaching qualification, you may be eligible to receive a funded position on our internal teacher training course.
- Effectively prepare students for non-examined assessments and examined assessments.
