Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

Our Aseptic Services department manufacture life-saving chemotherapy drugs. We are looking to add a **Supply Chain Assistant** to support this busy and fast-paced team.

As a **Supply Chain Assistan**t your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to:

- Maintain the general running of the supply chain
- Assist in running Spreadsheets in order to ascertain stock required
- Placing orders with suppliers for raw materials and consumables used within the Aseptic division
- Running outstanding order report daily and expediting orders where necessary
- Liaisoning with Production and Quality departments daily
- Assisting in achieving KPI's of the permanent
- Dealing with any product queries that may arise with either the description or pricing
- Maintaining internal systems with up-do-date pricing and expiring data
- Assisting in weekly and monthly stock takes
- Identifying stock that is close to expiry and promote its use
- Working with the Finance team to resolve invoice queries pertaining to all Aseptic Raw Materials and Consumables
- Developing close relationships with Stores department in order to maintain sufficient stock levels of consumables and assist in any queries they may have.

**To be successful in this role, you shoudl be able to demonstrate**
- Experience of operating in a similar role is essential
- Demonstrate experience of working autonomously and making decisions
- Confident dealing with managers and employees at all levels
- Comfortable with frequent travel (if required)
- Experience working in pharmaceutical / healthcare / life sciences industry advantageous
- Engish and Mathematics GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent)

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
