Tor View School is a small special school (registered for 30 pupils) with an Ofsted rating of GOOD. Our school is set in a beautiful rural location in West Devon. We are a day school, specialising in the education and care of up to 30 pupils between the age of 7 and 18 years, who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties.

**We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant for anywhere between 15 and 25 hours per week to carry out general cleaning duties.**

**The role is to work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the school, to ensure that it is a safe and comfortable environment at all times for our students, staff and guests.

**Communication** - During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

**Organisation **- As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
