**We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to work with us at** **University Hospitals Plymouth in the specialising in Obstetrics and gynaecology.**

We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a Trust that puts their patients at the heart of everything they do.

This Role is a flexible placement opportunity within the excellent team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care. Although this role would be predominantly based in Plymouth University Hospitals Trust there may be the opportunity to work extra shifts across any of our partner Trusts.

**Details about the role**:

- **Location**: University Hospitals Plymouth Trust
- **Days per week**:Monday-Friday
- **Shift Pattern**: long days/nights (negotiable shift pattern)
- **Start Date**: ASAP
- **Pay rate**: £90 per hour
- **Payment method: PAYE **we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies

**General workload includes**:

- Have considerable clinical experience of assessing and examining children and young people as appropriate to the role to include safeguarding
- Have an understanding of legal and forensic medicine as it relates to safeguarding/child protection
- Able to work in an MDT as part of a mutliprofessional and multi-agency team Enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
- Evidence of management and administration experience
- Evidence of comprehensive specialty training in community paediatrics
