In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting, and on occasion deputising, for the Managing Director by leading the catering staff at events that we cater for. You will be trained and mentored directly by our Managing Director, who has a passion for self-development and personal growth. It is important that you have a willingness to learn and are adaptable to the systems and processes we have in place.

You must be passionate about doing a great job, and care about the quality of service you, and your team, provide. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals, who are team players and will consistently go the extra mile for our customers. We serve a range of different types of customers from all over Essex, however, a large number of our customers are within the local community so it is important that you have are adaptable, have a great personality and excel at building relationships.

You will oversee the smooth running of the event, from a Front of House perspective, being responsible for the service of the food and drink, including the set up of serving areas, i.e. for welcome drinks and canapes, and the dining room itself. You will need to be able to develop a strong FOH team so having experience inducting, training and appraising staff will be a distinct advantage. You must possess excellent man-management and motivational skills.

To be the right fit for the company, you must be meticulous in your approach with excellent attention to detail and be highly organised. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals, who have at least 3 years of hospitality experience and can both work well as part of a team and oversee the smooth running of your teams service. Bar experience is a huge advantage.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all the staff deliver a first-class customer experience every time they step foot onto the premises by providing professional yet friendly service. You must be passionate about doing a great job, and care about the quality of service you, and your team, provide. Working for a small business, you have a real opportunity to have a big impact and see the direct result of your efforts.

The shifts will vary based on the demands of the business so it is important you are flexible and can work longer shifts, when required. You will be expected to work whenever an event is upcoming, this is usually most Saturday's and Sunday's plus additional days upon request.

Due to the various locations the events, having your own transport is essential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
