Nursery Practitioner
Part time - 2/3 days per week 8am - 6pm
Brimpton House Nursery are seeking to appoint a qualified level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. You would be working 2 or 3 days per week covering the hours of 8am - 6pm.
Brimpton House Nursery is located in a large building which has that home to home feeling. Each room is welcoming and homely, with a beautiful open rustic outside area The toddler rooms have free flow access to the outside space which also has a nature area for the children. The nursery is open from 8am - 6pm all year round and closes between Christmas and New Year.
The nursery is situated in an area with excellent train links into Colchester and London.
You will be joining a nursery with ambitious plans, where the staff team are stable, happy and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for the children within their care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic person, who can work closely within a growing team. You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.
This position would suit someone with previous nursery experience and who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged between 0 - 5 years.
**About our Nursery practitioner role**:
- To work closely with the Room Leader and other staff in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
- To liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
- To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures
- To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
- To provide stimulating activities and experiences
- To be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team

**Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience**:
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification**:

- Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years**:

- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating**:
