An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Nottinghamshire based business as a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, this role is perfect for someone with a strong Purchase Ledger background and experience in developing and supervising a team

**Duties**:

- Supervise and lead the development of the Purchase Ledger Team
- Oversee supplier invoice processing against purchase order receipts within the invoice tolerances set by the Head of Finance
- Oversee manual processing of signed coded invoices and credit notes
- Oversee reconciliation of supplier statements and request any missing invoices or credit notes
- Resolve any queries raised by suppliers
- Process the monthly GBP BACS/Foreign Wire payment runs ready for approval in accordance with internal controls and governance
- Oversee the Purchase Ledger invoice filing systems
- Preparation (or delegation and review) of the cashflow forecasts to support monthly Group Reporting requirements and effective cashflow requirements
- Assistance with preparation of supporting evidence to ensure an efficient year end close process and effective Audit

**Your Background**:

- Fantastic communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members
- Strong experience within Purchase Ledger (ideally minimum of 5 years)
- Experience with supervising and developing a team
- Being able to work to strict deadlines
- Using own initiative when working to deadlines
- Competent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel

**Benefits and Hours**:

- 8:45am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary up to £27,000
- 20 days holiday plus Bank holidays with an increased with length of service
- Onsite parking
