The starting salary for the role is £26,500 plus car, bonus, pension.

In the context of climate change, the SUEZ group must be at the forefront of innovation to meet the challenges of decarbonising the treatment of residual waste. As a Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on varied and exciting assignments to meet these challenges.

**Your mission if you choose to accept it**:

- Support the project team in developing the technical solution to enable carbon to be captured from our operations for long-term storage in the UK cluster networks.
- Keep informed and contribute to industrial and government working group discussions for carbon capture, particularly in the local area and the waste industry.
- Become a technical expert in CCUS:

- Develop the carbon capture process design and EfW integration to drive continuous improvement in our operations; identify process optimisations, increase efficiency of resource use and share best practice.
- Contribute to the development roadmap of carbon capture, utilisation and storage in the UK and the SUEZ Group.
- With an engineering degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering, you have the desire to actively contribute to the decarbonisation of waste treatment and you have a talent for analyzing and solving problems.

**What is required?**
- Ideally a Chemical Engineering (or similar) degree but any studies relating to CC will be desirable
- basic knowledge and understanding of the energy-from-waste and carbon capture process
- Curious to learn a job with a future
- Ingenious in finding innovative solutions
- A good communicator to share your knowledge with the project team and operators
- Listening to internal and external customer expectations
