We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Italian-speaking Procurement Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in various tasks related to sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management. Your fluency in Italian will be essential for communicating effectively with our Italian suppliers and vendors.

Support to the Sourcing Managers in the Indirect area will be part of the job scope. This will mean the assistance in data gathering, engagement and execution in European & Global projects.

The individual should be able to demonstrate critical thinking, influence throughout an organization and the ability to deliver change. This role could extend the remit of his/her responsibility into other counties of East Europe and EMEA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in sourcing and identifying potential suppliers in Italy, conducting market research, and analysing pricing and product options.
- Small contract negotiations
- Reading quotes
- Communicate with Italian suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in Italian is essential, both written and verbal.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
