Reporting to the Head of Continuous Improvement, this role is a dedicated improvement position to ensure the Flimby CI roadmap is executed to plan aligned to the goals of the business. You will be providing the lead to Operations for Continuous Improvement ensuring optimum engagement with all associates. Leveraging support from all functions and associates is a key expectation of the role. You will be a decisive and highly driven leader with a passion for transformation and implementing change to the highest standards. You will be leveraging the CI tools and techniques to positively improve Safety, Quality and Delivery. This role will ensure process and quality disciplines are rigorously maintained, providing clear direction to the site so that accountabilities are understood and discharged effectively.

You will be forward thinking and encourage a culture of open communications to implement change processes with a motivated workforce. You will lead by example to build strong professional relationships and create an inclusive team environment where all Associates feel valued.

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES**:

- Drive the CI Roadmap agenda aligned to the direction provided by the Head of Continuous Improvement
- Effectively communicate the elements of the roadmap, making these visible and understood by all to raise awareness of standards whilst also seeking buy-in from all Associates.
- Be an advocate for Health and Safety / Environmental & Quality Improvements and lead in rolling out change initiatives within operations. Ensure risks are minimized and preventative actions are in place.
- Work with Head of CI to raise productivity, quality, and delivery to the highest standards.
- Provide coaching to teams and Associates in various aspects of lean & Six Sigma that will drive improvement and positively impact the pulse survey.
- Improve Quality / Delivery performance, whilst reducing lead-times to provide industry leading standards of responsiveness.
- Ensure policies and processes are followed within Operations with a fair and consistent approach.
- Support the improvement agenda for ISO 9001, 14001,45001 and 50001 audits.
- Ensure all actions are in line with NB Leadership Competencies and NB Core Values.
- Facilitate Kaizen events with Teams and Associates ensuring value add output at all times.
- Drive improvement in Layout, Visual Management and Associate Suggestion Schemes across the Business.
- Provide S, Q and D data analysis to facilitate CI within areas of identified value chain improvement opportunities.
- Plan and execute Time & Motion studies working with Operations.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS**:

- Demonstratable passion and desire for Continuous Improvement.
- Proven record of successfully implementing LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma processes to deliver improvements in operating performance.
- Demonstrated ability in delivering change and transformation projects.
- Professional Facilitation and Coaching skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and person growth for self and Team
- Moderate to Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- LSS / Project Management qualification
- Enthusiastic and inspiring communicator.
