Office Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Transformation Unit team in Cumbria. As a key member of the Early Supported Stroke Discharge team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and their families as they recover from stroke.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, including experience with Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. You will be responsible for managing the team's workload, including planning and booking assessments and visits, writing discharge letters, and updating patient documentation.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract, working part-time hours (17.5 hours per week) within office hours. You will be based at Maryport Hospital and will work closely with the multi-disciplinary ESSD Team, including Occupational Therapists, physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, and Team Leads.
Job Requirements:- Proven administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata (dependent on experience).
