We are looking for a positive, confident and motivational leader to join our seasonal team We are looking for a positive, confident, and motivational leader to join our seasonal team as a Duty Supervisor, working with our management team to ensure the Aqua Park and other activities run smoothly.

To begin with.. Our team will train you to become an Axe Throwing and Archery Instructor and once competent you will be the main person delivering our Beginner Experiences before the peak season. You will attend the Open Water Lifeguard course (or already hold the qualification), and complete our in-house Aqua Guide training. Through completing lifeguard shifts and shadowing our Duty Managers we will ensure you know all the ins and outs of the Supervisor element of the role.

By peak season.. You will know our operation thoroughly and be ready to take on the Supervisor role, to being with taking the closing shifts aligning with Aqua Park operating hours. Through the summer holidays this role will be mostly focussed on the Aqua Park, leading and working with the team to ensure our customers are being kitted up and given their safety brief on the hour, every hour and that the site remains as tidy as it can in a busy environment. Perhaps the most challenging part of the role, you will be expected to be a key part of responding to first aid situations on the Aqua Park - working with our Aqua Guides and taking the lead where required to ensure they feel supported and able to manage responses to a high standard.

Experience required:

- Have had previous training and experience taking the lead in first aid situations.
- Outdoor activity instructing/senior lifeguard experience or similar i.e. have previous experience delivering activities.
- Have experience leading a team.
- Have adequate transport to get to us for as early as 8:30am or leave as late as 8:30pm.
- Will attend the Open Water Lifeguard (provided) course 10th - 13th April and successfully obtain this qualification OR already hold a valid Open Water Lifeguarding Qualification.
- Will lead by example and be a dynamic team player.
- Have the confidence to deliver a clear safety brief to our customers.
- Be able to remain calm under in pressured situations.
- Be a natural leader and positive ambassador for Isle of Wight Aqua Park.

Hours of Work: Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, potentially up to 40.

Peak Season shifts likely to be 10:30-18:30

Off Peak shifts will be an earlier start/finish
