**Accounts Assistant
- Temporary Illness Cover (Minimum 3 Months)**
- **Zeus Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our clients Finance and Accounts team for a leading manufacturer of double-glazed and triple-glazing units, specialising in trade IGU supply**_

With previous experience of posting purchase invoices to Pegasus Opera or similar software.

**Hours of work**:
Full time
Monday - Friday

**Rate of pay**:
Starting at £30,000 pa

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Payment of contractors in line with agreed timeline
- Payment of suppliers in line with agreed timeline
- Manage contractor statements
- Reconciliation of customer invoicing
- Manage Customer statements
- Manage employee monthly payments
- Manage company expenses and credit card reconciliation
- Management of company bills - insurances/telecoms etc.
- Manage the accurate financial creation of new customer and new contractor/suppliers.

**Key skills**:

- Computer Literate and proficient in mathematics
- Quick learner, ability to work effectively and demonstrate accurate use of business tools - Pegasus Opera, Xero, excel, word, reports, and portals.
- Privileged role requiring full confidentiality of all business and employee information
- Excellent administration skills and a professional telephone manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to organise and prioritise activities, manage several tasks concurrently and work under pressure, switching tasks and priorities while maintain focus
- Excellent attention to accuracy and detail in order to consistently work to a high standard
- Uses own initiative and able to demonstrate problem solving skills
- Good decision-maker, taking responsibility and being accountable for key maintenance processes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnley, BB12 7NG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
