**About The Role**

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have 3+ years of demonstrable experience in a credit control role. More than just a debt collector, the role is about building strong relationships, creating trust internally and externally, whilst dealing with some complex queries and risk assessments on a frequent occasion.

**Responsibilities and Duties of the Job**
- Support the day-to-day management of the accounts function
- Oversee the month end process for various entities
- Manage the implementation of a new accounting system
- Manage and maintain an effective credit control function
- Produce monthly and quarterly reporting for the group
- Assist in consolidation of group financials and preparation of budgets, forecasts etc
- Analysing Commercial P&L and Balance sheet with ownership of specific P&L lines
- Cashflow forecasting
- Support the integration of acquisitions and new business units
- Documentation of accounting processes and policies
- Work collaboratively with senior management
- Monitoring Capex and manage cost control across operations
- Support in various head office projects
- Managing all insurance claims for the Group
- Stay updated on legislative and regulatory developments in the care industry

**Person Specification**
- Fully qualified accountant
- Ability to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively with peers
- Experience of Microsoft dynamics beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Interest in systems and reporting with the confidence to own, create and improve processes
- Experience of managing finance projects
- Highly numerate + analytical, with good attention to detail
- Deadline orientated
- Ambitious and keen to make an impact
