Role Summary:

The LP Support Specialist plays an important role within the Loss Prevention team in supporting and assisting the function across Europe with a focus on administration, financial control, data analysis & reporting, vendor management and loss awareness. You will also establish and maintain key cross functional relationships with internal partners in the head offices in both the US and the UK, as well as creating relationships with external vendors and agencies.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Propose, design and produce materials relevant to LP/Shrink awareness
- Provide training support of operational teams on current LP policies, procedures and equipment
- Analyse data from Register Monitoring System to identify anomalies and communicate any findings
- Prepare and distribute presentations and reports highlighting results, performance, trends and exposures on topics such as inventory, H&S, Discount, Damages and reported incidents
- Provide support with internal investigations - conducting preliminary analysis data, reviewing CCTV footage and assisting with interviews
- Prepare and manage annual P&L and CapEx budgets, ensuring alignment with function and organisational goals and strategic plans,
- Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects ensuring invoice accuracy, resolving any issues and discrepancies
- Liaise with the Finance team to analyse and interpret monthly P&L statements, providing accurate forecasts, identifying potential budget variances and recommending corrective actions
- Represent LP department on cross functional projects, providing advice and solutions
- Analyse store intruder alarm activity escalating when there is a lack of response or repeated false alarms
- Maintain and update the asset register of all ‘physical security’ equipment, including any upgraded equipment in new and current stores
- Manage all LP Policies &Procedures ensuring consistency with wider Global business, but adapted for local legislation/culture, translating into local language where appropriate
- Attend Construction meetings regarding new stores and advise on LP equipment/requirements

What You'll Need:

- Possess a good knowledge of retail operating principles and procedures with experience of Store Operations an advantage.
- Understand modern Loss Prevention techniques.
- Possess the ability to network and build relationships internally and interact at all levels.
- Be willing to support business outside of routine working hours.
- A second European language is an advantage.
- Capacity to undertake additional work and operate to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work remotely and unsupervised daily.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Travel within the UK and Mainland Europe will occasionally be required (inc. Overnight stays).
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
