**The organisation**:
In this Intensive Housing Support Worker opportunity in Lincoln and Grantham, you will join add a organisation helping ex-offenders living in temporary accommodation. This role will be working with young people aged between 16-20 years, they will be dealing with a range of complex needs.

**Key responsibilities of an Intensive Housing Support Worker**

In this job title job, your responsibilities will include:

- To be the first point of contact for each young person within a positive and empowering service, delivering direct support within their home environment.
- To implement safety plans as and when required.
- To ensure robust recording of activities.
- To contribute to meeting the overall SMART action plans of the Young Person.
- To respond to challenging behaviours in a professional manner and calmly in a solution focused way.
- To support and encourage the young person to be a 'good neighbour' by promptly addressing any noise, visitor, ASB issues.
- To ensure that all accommodation is safe by completing cleaning duties.
- To report as necessary any serious incidents including taking action when young people are missing from placement to include contacting children services and police

**Skills and Experience of an Intensive Housing Support Worker**
- Proven track record of dealing with complex cases - ideally ex-offenders / substance misuse / mental heath / domestic violence
- Car driver is necessary
- DBS on the update service or issued withing the last 12 months
- Available to start ASAP - this role may become a temporary to permanent role foe the right person.
