**Keith Elkington Transport Ltd.**

We supply specialised transport solutions to the foodservice equipment industry from our bases in Milton Keynes and Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for a **Loading Shift Supervisor**, working on a **full-time, permanent basis**, at **Milton Keynes**, MK8 8DF.

**Working hours**:
**Monday - Friday, 2pm start and 12am (midnight) finish** - with flexibility to finish later than 12am, on occasion.

All overtime is paid at a premium rate.

**Experience;**

**A valid Counterbalance and Bendi/Flexi FLT licence and a driving licence (Cat B) are essential to the role.**

**Daily duties**:
Commercial catering equipment.

**Unloading & Re-Loading of Vans and HGVs** - unload and log daily returns, check MHE and undertake a vehicle check before accurately loading and securing equipment for the next day's delivery. You will load from a schedule of between 15-20 runs per day and run a final check on all loads before parking.

**Picking orders for next day delivery **- reporting to the Operations Manager, you will pick stock from locations across 4 warehouses and prepare for loading.

**Returns **- daily returns should be logged and communicated to the Planning Department and also the customer to ensure a swift turnaround and return to the customers premises.

**General Housekeeping** - reporting to the Operations Manager you will maintain a tidy, well organised and safe warehouse and yard. This will include MHE checks, fork lift checks and general H&S monitoring across all 4 warehouses and yard areas.

**Booking Inbound Deliveries** - you will work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to identify and log all incoming orders and put them away into location as well as communicating effectively with the back office to provide updates and query resolution.

**Due to the nature of the commercial catering equipment, there will be some lifting and manual handling involved. Loading is completed both indoors and outdoors (weather dependant). Full training will be provided. Full uniform and PPE will also be provided.**

All new employees will undergo reference checks and Drug & Alcohol tests at the start of employment.
