Working hours:
Monday - Friday, 13:00 - 23:00 (with some flexibility)

45hr contract per week

Overtime is readily available at morning/evenings/weekdays and paid at a premium rate.

Experience;

Daily duties:
Unloading & Re-Loading of vans and HGVs - unload and log daily returns, check MHE and undertake a vehicle check before accurately loading and securing equipment for the next day's delivery. You will load from a schedule of between 15-20 runs per day and run a final check on all loads before parking.

Picking orders for next day delivery - reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will pick stock from locations across 4 warehouses and prepare for loading.

Returns - daily returns should be logged and communicated to the Planning Department and also the customer to ensure a swift turnaround and return to the customers premises.

General Housekeeping - reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will maintain a tidy, well organised and safe warehouse and yard. This will include MHE checks, fork lift checks and general H&S monitoring across all 4 warehouses and yard areas.

Booking Inbound Deliveries - you will work in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager to identify and log all incoming orders and put them away into location as well as communicating effectively with the back office to provide updates and query resolution.

Due to the nature of the commercial catering equipment, there will be some lifting and manual handling involved. Full training will be provided, including Bendi FLT licence. Full uniform and PPE will also be provided.

All new employees will undergo reference checks and Drug & Alcohol tests at the start of employment.
