Office Administrator/customer Service

We are a small friendly tree consultancy company operating from Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire where we offer a range of tree surveys, reports, and technical investigation services within the Arboricultural industry. We provide training and support to other consultants and import specialist equipment for our Tree Diagnostic department.
We are a well-established business with clients throughout the UK.
The job role provides some flexibility in regards start / finish times. In person attendance required, with occasional hybrid working only and after a training period, with in-house industry specific training to meet the demands of the role.
The job role includes but is not specific to:
- Managing diaries of our surveying team ensuring that known project deadlines are met.
- Creating and managing documents, organising filing systems and updating office databases
- Light accounting duties - Preparing documents such as invoices and client information on our internal software and xero (training can be given on this software).
- General standard administration support to the Directors and consultants / surveying team.
- Spelling/grammar proofing of reports prior to release
**Essential criteria**:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- High level of literacy
- Experience in administration roles
- Good Microsoft office - Word / Excel use/ Microsoft 365/
**Desirable criteria**
- Specific administration qualifications
- Some interest in trees and the environment
- Full driving licence
- Patience and sense of humour
