**_This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member within a small team and deliver targeted training within Restore and to the wider community. We are looking for a team-oriented, experienced individual who is willing to support the team with an equal share of administration duties_**.

**Key Responsibilities**

This post requires a dynamic and committed person to deliver Mental Health training in Oxfordshire and occasionally elsewhere in the UK. If you are not already a qualified MHFA instructor, we would support you to become accredited by MHFA England by funding your training and paying you whilst you train.

The post will assist in marketing, developing, and delivering Mental Health First Aid for Restore for various clients both in-person and online. The Mental Health First Aid Instructor is responsible for delivering Mental Health First Aid training at our Head office in Oxford and at external venues.

**Delivering MHFA**
- If currently unqualified, to undertake and pass MHFA accredited training at the first opportunity
- Deliver MHFA training to a high standard, enabling people to become skilled MHFAiders
- Deliver Restore Mental Health Training such as ‘Working with Mental Health’
- Promote and market MHFA aiming to recruit both individuals and organisations onto MHFA courses
- Coordinate MHFA bookings to include arranging venue hire and catering
- Manage the collection and reporting of MHFA data, including learner details
- Assist in the design and delivery of bespoke Mental Health in the Workplace training courses

**Essential Requirements**
- Either MHFA accredited, or a willingness and commitment to complete further training
- Ability to coordinate the delivery of mental health training in Oxfordshire and occasionally surrounding counties
- Some flexibility required on working days and willing to occasionally undertake some evening and weekend work when required
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Excellent organisational skills
- One to one skills and the ability to give impartial information, advice and guidance
- Experience of delivering training/teaching effectively
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude towards people with mental health issues
- Enthusiastic approach to reducing stigma associated with mental ill health
- Computer literacy and experience in presentations and training
- Can demonstrate ability to be objective and non-judgmental
- Ability to form good effective working relationships and work as part of a team in an office environment

**Desirable criteria**
- Ability to design and deliver a variety of mental health training packages
- Training/teaching qualifications, e.g. AET (Award in Education and Training)
- Experience of effective networking
- Good knowledge about mental health issues
- MHFA qualification
- Experience of developing business partnerships and encouraging engagement with an organisation
