Your main duty and role will be to support the students in the classroom.
The support you provide will be either in a small group setting or 1 to 1.
Your priority will be to ensure that these children have a warm and safe environment to come to everyday so that learning can take place.
You will be supported by the class teacher and also have the advantage of being exposed to a multi-disciplinary team.
Those with backgrounds in sports, art or drama are encouraged to apply.The successful Child Mental Health Assistant:

Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
Will have some experience working with children
Will understand the importance of safeguarding
Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain oneKey information regarding the role as Child Mental Health Assistant:
