Conference Assistant

Conference Assistant - to start ASAP - 6 month fixed term contract. Office based role, with some hybrid working after a period of training - Based local to Richmond, parking available and 31k - 32k pro rata.
Must be able to commit with no planned holidays in June or July
International Premium Drinks organisation, with well known brands in their portfolio, requires an experienced Conference Assistant, to support their established events team.
Key responsibilities for the Conference Assistant will be:
- Working closely with the Event Manager as right hand person, to provide support and assistance on a variety of tasks
- Liaising with their travel company and external suppliers to finalise individual flight details and itineraries for event
- Dealing with suppliers, first point of contact for questions related to catering, room set ups and other items that arise.
- Managing invoices and payments, with the support and guidance of the Event Manager
- Communicating with their employees confirming their individual accommodation, travel and dietary information and managing responses
Experienced required to fulfil the role of Conference Assistant
- Previous Conference and Events experience gained from hospitality or corporate environments
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task when working on several projects
- Advanced level of MS Office
- Strong administration background
- Happy to travel around the UK and be on site for events - with one due to take place over a weekend in July

**Salary**: £31,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
