We are currently working on this excellent opportunity to join this outstanding company who offer an excellent package to all employees. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator to join their hard working, and friendly team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, the role will be assisting in the accurate preparation, verification, and administration of all company payrolls
- Along with general administration you will also input all holiday, sickness absence and other related information into the payroll systems
- You will be involved in all aspects of the payroll process. Our Clients’ payrolls are complex covering 2600 employees across the UK, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland
**Experience required**:
- Previous experience of payroll systems is required along with a good understanding of statutory payments and deductions
- You must be self-motivated, methodical, well organised and be confident liaising with employees at all levels within the business
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines within a pressurised payroll environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience of Civica People Live payroll system would be preferred but is not essential
- Experience and knowledge of processing Irish and Off-Shore payroll would also be advantageous
