Compliance Associate

Falcon Investment Management is a leading Alternative Asset Manager based in Mayfair, looking for an experienced Compliance Associate to join our growing compliance team. You will be reporting to the head of compliance/MLRO and working within a small dynamicand driven team. This will be a broad, multi-faceted and fast paced role.

**Job purpose**

To support the continuing development of this highly successful business, we require a dynamic professional to play a key role in supporting the compliance department with its client take on, new business development, compliance monitoring and advisory responsibilities.

**Duties will include**
- Perform ongoing and "deep dive" ad hoc monitoring tasks, including monitoring the effectiveness of business controls and the monitoring of client transactions across a range of asset types
- Assist with investigating and resolving ad hoc queries from regulators, exchanges, administrators and other areas of the business
- Client onboarding, including conducting AML client due diligence (KYC)
- Assisting with the certification of staff (under SMCR), including providing compliance inductions and training for staff
- Perform ongoing tasks such as reviewing and signing off on marketing communications, personal account dealing, gifts and hospitality
- Assist in the administration of compliance policies and procedures
- Assist with regulatory reporting
- Supporting compliance and business projects as directed

**Knowledge and Experience**

You must be of graduate calibre with at least 3 years compliance experience, from sectors such as Wealth/Asset Management/Brokerage or Investment Banking.
