Bikeability Cycling Instructor

Cycle North are recruiting qualified and non-qualified National Standard Cycling Instructors for delivery of Bikeability cycle training in Leeds and Wakefield schools

We have a course running for new cycling instructors in Leeds on Mon 5th - Friday 9th February. So you will need to be quick to apply
You will need to attend all five days.
Subject to completing the course you will be offered employment with Cycle North.
The work is mainly term time and instructors generally work either Mon to Wed or Thurs and Fri.

THE ROLE

Instructors generally work three days a week for us in term time 18.5 hours a week and the work is seasonal; less training during December and January and during school holidays. There is an initial 3-6 month probationary period (not relevant for experienced instructor) during which the rate of pay is £11.73 per hour plus paid holiday (In total equivalent to £13.14 per hour). Following successful completion of the probationary period the pay increases to £12.94 per hour plus paid holiday (In total equivalent to £14.50 per hour). We also pay travel expenses and have an optional pension scheme.

The role suits people who are flexible and do not rely on cycle training as their sole income.

If you are not qualified, you will need to attend a 5 day course which we will be running in Sheffield:
The cost of the course is £100 refunded on completion of all 5 days.
