- **Equans is looking for a Handyman ( General Maintenance Static Operative ) to join our team at Very Group in Derby DE74 2BB on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.**

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of building fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner.

shift times **08.00 to 4.30**

**What will you deliver?**:

- Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs
- Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture
- Inspect/replace lamps / tubes
- Inspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
- Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
- Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes
- Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages
- Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
- Escorting contractors
- Out of hours standby call out rota once probation period has been completed
