**Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)**
**Shift patterns: (10 hour shifts with 1 hour break) Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday**
**Location: Enfield, North London (EN3 4NQ)**

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**
- Transporting non-emergency patients to and from hospitals, clinics or other healthcare facilities
- Working as a single or double crew, responsible for either driving the ambulance or supporting the travelling patient
- Regular heavy-lifting, using equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers and carry chairs
- Assisting patients in and out of the ambulance, ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and other staff to ensure a high level of patient care
- Completing patient documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining the ambulance equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- A caring and understanding nature, with friendly manner
- Previous care-giving experience would be advantageous
- The ability to work in a role that requires regular heavy-lifting of patients, as well as exposure to bodily fluids (including urine, faeces, vomit and blood)
- A calm and considerate driver with good knowledge of UK road signs and the Highway Code
- You must pass a drug and alcohol test
- You must provide your last 5 years of address history
- You must provide your full employment history and CV (starting from day 1 of employment)
