Job - Domestic Facilities / Catering Assistant

We are looking for reliable and trustworthy individuals who can work in a demanding and busy hospital environment covering both domestic and catering duties who must be flexible, hardworking and energetic.

Silver Birch ward is a 20 bedded unit for adults with a diagnosis of Dementia and for adults under 65 with behaviours that challenge We provide care and treatment for individuals awaiting assessment and treatment.

You will be part of the ward team providing a catering service to the ward and to cover general cleaning duties as well as assistance with the meal provision to the patients. The person will have a caring and compassionate nature and able to work as part of a team to deliver crucial nutritional input to a patient group that may require additional assistance.

The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

The post is 25 hrs per week (over 5 days), shifts patterns are between 8am and 6pm on a rota (including weekends and Bank holidays). Applicants must be flexible and able to work additional shifts as and when required to cover the 7-day week service. This role will be split into a 5 hour part time shift basis. 8am - 1pm and 1pm and 6 pm
