Digital Project Manager, Newcastle, £45-50K + 10% Bonus + £5,400 Car Allowance + Bens. You must have a background as a Digital Project Manager with experience of Project Management or Process Improvement of digitilisation, shaping and delivering a numberof improvement projects within a multi-divisional business nationwide.
Construction industry experience would be a plus.
The role:
Planning
*Plans, controls and manages the delivery of a Portfolio of projects to meet the agreed business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
*Ensures that all projects are appropriately planned as per guidance from the IT PMO Controls and Governance Models
*Conducts regular reviews and reports progress against the project budget and project plan
Financial Responsibilities
*Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders
*Liaises with budget holders and sponsors to manage the project spend within agreed budget
*Ensures best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of resources and technology
*Operates the PMOs risk framework to identify and manage the required outcome of potential risks and opportunities
Operational Responsibilities
*Overall management of a projects
*Liaison, communication and effective management of suppliers, the Business and other functions to ensure each projects effective delivery on schedule and within budget
*Reports on budgets, resourcing, project(s) status, risks and issues to the Portfolio
About You:
*The following qualities/experience are essential:
*Experienced Project Management or Process improvement of digitalisation, with significant demonstrable experience shaping and delivering a number of improvement projects within a multi-divisional business nationwide.
*High class facilitation skills with a wide level of internal and external stakeholders
*Drive, energy, and enthusiasm
*Able to remain calm and unflustered under pressure
*Strong experience of workload prioritisation and ability to multitask
*Strong understanding on the importance of people and process in change management
*Experience of working in a digital programme environment
*An understanding of assigned business functional domain including business operating model, activities, data, process, and information requirements
*A Dynamic self-starter with the ability to the get the job done
*Ability to work under pressure
*Strong understanding / recognised qualification relating to the disciplines of project management including best practice methodologies e.g., Prince 2 Practitioner, Agile, APMP, Scrum Master etc
*Exhibits authority and leadership, takes responsibility, is Independent and self-starting
*Demonstrates teamwork at the highest level, highly collaborative approach, among the first to volunteer to help others succeed.
*Ability to engage and influence peers in I.T., the Business and supply chain
*Highly customer and delivery focused, meeting and exceeding customer expectations

This Digital Project Manager role is a hybrid position based in Newcastle and pays c£45-50K base + 10% Bonus, £5,400 Car Allowance + bens.
