An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated leader to lead and shape a growing, dynamic pharmacy team, that is supporting several new and exciting services such as Virtual Wards covering specialities such as cardiology, respiratory, acute medicine, frailty, and End of Life, and our Discharge to Assess services.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a track record of providing vision and excellent leadership to a pharmacy team.

Responsible for delivering, managing and developing
management of medicines within Lincolnshire Community Health
Services NHS Trust.

Includes Medicines Safety Officer (MSO) role
and lead role in Antimicrobial Stewardship for the Trust.

Lead on the development of a culture of continuous learning and
quality improvement, working closely to advise and guide service
managers.

Strategic lead for the development and modernisation of medicines management related services to meet the national and locally defined agenda and the identified health needs of the population.

To improve the quality of services and patient care provided
by all staff involved within medicines management and
prescribing related services.

To ensure and provide assurance to board that LCHS has
robust systems, processes and audit to govern the quality
agenda surrounding medical interventions to patients cared for
by LCHS Trust.

Accountability in relation to controlled drugs management, formulary management and audit, financial controls with respect to prescribing, audit of individual’s medical and non-medical prescribing activity,
incident investigation, medicines management issues with
regard to the infection prevention and control agenda, medicines safety, and public health.
