Kids in Bloom at Malvern Primary L146XA are looking for a new team member to provide a little bit of everything.

Roles will be mainly cleaning within the nursery and kitchen each day but to also provide lunch cover for staff so the job will include working with the children too.

Training and qualifications are not essential however if you do hold a level 2 or 3 in any relevant childcare qualifications then that will be beneficial to the role. CPD will be offered and required around health and safety, food hygiene and hazardous substances( all done on line within your working hours).

Essentially what we are looking for is a well organised, happy and enthusiastic person who will slot right in to a team, keep the nursery clean for our children and families, offer lunch time support covering breaks for our team and also keep our kitchens to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Just to give you a bit of insight into how the role will work.

Kids in Bloom at Malvern primary has 5 rooms,

Baby ( 0-18 months ) for 10 babies

Waddler ( 18-30 months ) for 12 children

Toddler( 30-42 months ) 16 children

Preschool ( 42- 59 months) for 24-48 children

Out of school ( 48 months + ) for 24 children

So as you can see we have lots of rooms with the potential for lots of children.

The plan would be 12 noon - 6pm Monday to Friday term time.

12 noon start, clear away all lunch dishes and tidy the kitchen then cover staff lunches

2.30pm plan and prepare afternoon snack ( online food hygiene level 2 required, this will be made available to you)

3.30pm clear away dishes and clean the kitchens then look to start the cleaning Rota within the rooms of the nursery, toilets and communal areas( COSHH training required, this would be made available to you )

6pm finish.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Refill soap dispensers and paper products
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
