Hotel Receptionist

Highland Hotel is recruiting a new team member to deliver friendly and effective customer service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all hotel guests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Delivers excellent customer service at all times
- Ensures the well-being, satisfaction and comfort of all guests
- Courteous, helpful and friendly attitude to all guests at all times
- Assists in keeping Hotel’s reception area clean and tidy at all times
- Updates shift diary during and at the end of shift detailing all important activities carried out
- Maintains and display excellent knowledge of local area
- Fulfils all reasonable requests from the guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
- Reports any maintenance issues immediately to line manager
- Is familiar with reservations tasks in order to cover this role if required
- Provides reports for other departments as required
- Always adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Is punctual and maintains a professional appearance
- Prioritises tasks in relevance of importance
- Attends training when required and instructed
- Shows commitment to hotel’s values
- Is fully aware and adheres to Fire and Health and Safety procedures
- Carries out daily auditing, financial reports and banking
- Works well on their own

Please note this involves shift and weekend work 5 days out of 7.

37.5 hours per week on average, monthly pay by bank transfer, opportunity for additional work during the year and for holiday cover.

Previous hotel experience is desired but not essential as full training will be given.
