- Yunex Traffic is looking for aspiring undergraduates to join our Marketing and Communications team on a 12-month internship contract as part of our Intern Development Programme.- As our cities get bigger and more complex, Yunex Traffic makes mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable with forward-looking infrastructure and transport solutions. Yunex Traffic designs, markets, manufactures, installs, and maintains a wide portfolio of international traffic management products and is the UK market leader in the traffic signal business. This includes intersection and pedestrian traffic controllers, intelligent urban traffic control systems, variable message signs, public transport, and car park guidance systems to enhance road safety and improve traffic flow in congested urban and inter-urban areas.**The challenge**
- Part of being a #TrafficTransformer intern at Yunex Traffic means you’ll gain practical experience working on real projects in a leading, global intelligent traffic systems company. - Our UK Marketing and Communications team play a meaningful role in telling our story and engaging our employees and external stakeholders, including customers, the media and key decision markers.- Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Lead for the UK, this role will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment where you will contribute to our marketing and communication efforts.- Here is a taste of what you can expect from this internship:
- Developing copywriting, creativity, and design skills for generating engaging content for newsletters and social media channels including LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Helping create and deliver key external PR and exciting marketing campaigns.
- Supporting internal communications and employee engagement programmes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment internally and externally.
- Helping other departments with video creation and editing.
- Writing copy for a range of channels including the intranet, award entries, press releases and advertising.

- You think logically, are willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- You work independently, safely and responsibly; taking ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms and content creation.
- Experience in using Teams and SharePoint and social media channels - video production / editing an advantage.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative, passion, and an ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly personality, well-presented and able to act as an ambassador for the company.
- Minimum Educational Requirements- Aiming towards or having achieved a 2:1 or above in a marketing or communications degree.
