**Quality Assurance Lead**
**Northampton, Knutsford, Glasgow & Manchester**

As a Barclays Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will lead the growing QA team for the Investigations function within CSO providing a service of various processes including but not limited to Court Orders Reviews and Investigations Reviews. You will also play a key role in helping us to introduce an improved, risk-focused QA model and support the development and delivery of strategic objectives to help achieve a sustainable QA function.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Managing Quality Assurance & Governance Analysts and AVPs
- Overseeing the quality assurance of Court Orders processes
- Managing all active queues in relation to capacity, ensuring transparency of reporting, and escalations
- Identifying trends, analysing root cause issues and recommending appropriate corrective actions
- Producing key performance metrics and reporting packs for both QA & Operational Rigour
- Presenting results in various management committees regularly and distribute to senior leadership
- Challenging all levels within the function as needed to obtain the right outcome and to drive improvements
- Identifying weaknesses in systems, processes and controls covered by QA

**What we’re looking for**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills including experience in producing and reviewing papers / MI; and presentations for senior audiences
- Analytical and communication skills as well as ability to work with a diverse range of colleagues across multiple sites
- An interest in counter crime activity

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Ability to absorb and analyse large quantities of data
- Experience in working, leading and delivering change within a time bound regulatory driven operation
- Experience within counter crime environment/ knowledge of Barclays Operations
- Ability to influence business senior leadership teams on how best mobilise resources and implement change that drives innovation and change whilst mitigating risks

**Where will you be working?**
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
