Our Timber Systems division is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of timber frame building solutions, specialising in off-site construction. Our services cover concept design information and technical guidance, full design service, manufacture, delivery and construction on site.

**The role**

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Department providing general administrative support to meet the department objectives by accurate and timely processing of information, providing the production team with any information that may be required, consuming material and closing works orders completed in the factory.

In addition to this you will capture and record all information relating to environmental performance across the site and communicate these via the KPI dashboard and factory notice boards.

In keeping with the specific importance given to Health & Safety and the Environment by Donaldson Timber Systems, you will also have specific accountabilities as set out in our Corporate Responsibility for Health & Safety and Environmental Policy.

We will offer you the chance to develop your skills further through in-house training.

**Accountabilities**
- Deliver accurate and timeous administration of production information, to ensure product is delivered to a high quality standard and to agreed timescales.
- Ensure that all stock transactions are captured and completed in real time by the end of each day.
- Monitoring, closing and investigating production works orders and associated BOMs through company ERP system.
- Assisting in the processing of information from design and preparing packages and works orders for production.
- Maintaining all paperwork relating to the Manufacturing department including quality check sheets, accident and incident reports and training documents.
- Collating all factory information and entering in to Excel to produce weekly and monthly KPI information.
- Prioritise workload to ensure a proactive approach to the delivery of the administration requirements of the department.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships, internally and externally to maximise successful delivery of all areas within your responsibility.

**Essential Technical Expertise**
- Demonstrate ability for prioritising work load, particularly when under pressure
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication and people skills
