Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Activity Co-ordinator in Bedford with Bedford Borough Council. The role is based in Adult Services, working in a residential care home.

This is an exciting opportunity and the role will include -- To plan and organise activities within a care home
- To engage residents in activities, both one to one and group
- To access activities for residents outside of the care home
- To access and arrange for community based groups to visit the home
- To arrange spiritual and faith support for residents
- To participate in the care planning process for identifying social needs for individuals and recording activities on individuals Daily Journal's
- To assist in arranging fund raising events for the Residents amenities fund
- To contribute to the Homes newsletter
- To complete weekly activities planner for distribution within the home
