**Overview of the IVA Supervisory Role**:
Operating under the guidance of the Insolvency Manager, the Supervisory Case Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of post-appointment IVAs, commencing from the initial meeting of creditors and extending to closure. This involves maintaining compliance with internal policies, the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules, and relevant Statement of Insolvency Practices (SIPs).

**Role and Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibilities of the IVA Supervisory Case Officer can be categorised into the following key areas:
**IVA Case Management**:

- Collaborate effectively to accomplish tasks across all campaigns, ensuring adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Successfully manage a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing their journey from the meeting of creditors to ultimate closure.
- Liaise with clients, creditors, and other relevant third parties as necessary, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide necessary support to our outsourcing partners concerning Supervisory functions when required.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as necessary to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

**System Testing**:
Conduct thorough reviews and tests of functionality within our case management software, guaranteeing optimal performance.

Identify areas for system improvement, enhancing efficiency, and offering valuable feedback as appropriate.

Perform comprehensive regression testing for all new system functionality prior to release.

Assist in data cleanses and system migrations as required, ensuring a smooth transition and operation.

**Complaints Handling**:
Provide invaluable assistance to the complaints department, particularly in resolving complex complaint queries and escalations.

Aid the Insolvency Practitioners in addressing any regulatory complaints that may arise, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
Possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of post-appointment IVA and objection handling.

Exhibit excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering productive relationships both within and outside the organisation.

Display meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.

Showcase a collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with other teams and providing support where needed.

Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical abilities, offering creative solutions to challenges.

**Essential Criteria**:
Minimum GCSE Math and English qualifications at Grade A-C or equivalent.

Proficient in general IT skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems seamlessly.

Aptitude for multitasking and meeting targets within a dynamic work environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective correspondence.

Minimum 2 years experience in working in the personal insolvency sector

**Desirable Criteria**:
CPI/CPPI/PIP certification.
