We are currently recruiting for a Financial Crime Assurance Advisor to be a part of our team This role could be ideal for you, if you’re seeking a new challenging opportunity or keen to develop your current skills and career aspiration. We need your skills and experience to support the provision of independent assurance to the UK Financial Crime Director (SMF17), ensuring that financial crime risk and controls are operating effectively.

A bit about the job:
As the Financial Crime Assurance Advisor, you will be given the opportunity to support the UK Financial Crime Assurance Senior Manager in the delivery of financial crime focussed reviews whilst helping to maintain an effective Financial Crime Assurance Framework. By gaining an understanding of the financial crime risks facing the business units across the UK, the team will have significant exposure and influence on strategic decision makers for UK Life and AIL financial crime.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experienced individual with operational/customer facing and/o financial crime/audit background- Some knowledge of financial crime laws and regulations- Good interpersonal, relationship building and written, and verbal communication skill; organised and disciplined with effective time-management- Good understanding of the UK financial services sector, with either Life Insurance, General Insurance or Health insurance experience desirable- Able to form and express an independent view with credibility, challenging key stakeholders as appropriate

What you’ll get for this role:
