A dynamic and expanding company, Fibre Partner Limited is a fibre installation contractor in the UK whose clients are Telecom fibre Infrastructure providers, operators, and Telecom system integrators.

The executive team at FPL is comprised of seasoned telecom experts with more than 40 years of combined industry expertise. By recruiting local engineers and ensuring that they receive the necessary training, accreditation, and certification from UK-based professional training providers, FPL aims to increase the number of talented engineers in the UK.

There are new and intriguing chances to learn, develop, and grow with us since our mission is to assist fibre infrastructure builders in bringing gigabit internet to more and more homes in the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise the engineers on site.
- Help them with their queries.
- Coordinated with project manager for daily tasks and explain the plan to the engineers.
- Collect risk assessments from the engineers and keep the record of it.
- Keep the team motivated
- Participate in health and safety monitoring tasks on behalf of the health and safety manager.
- Assist the health and safety manager with the management of the project's fire safety at all times.
- Assist with health and safety audits. Create audit reports and take necessary action.
- Conduct daily H&S inductions.
- Assist in maintaining and organising the operative’s training.
- Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments, compliance and training of staff, with particular reference to, manual handling, and working at height
- Assist in delivering Toolbox Talks.
- Send regular updates on H&S related topics.
- Review and record checks on all fire exits, fire and fire equipment, and fire signs. Replace extinguishers, signage etc.
- Review relevant safety signage on site. Print signage and display it in the relevant places.
- Assist in producing the Weekly H&S Site Inspections
- Assist in producing the Monthly Environmental Inspections
- Be responsible for maintaining Risk Assessments of daily tasks
- Assist in preparations for Considerate Client Audits
- Proactively drive positive safety cultural change by setting high safety expectations and encouraging others to follow your example.
- Conduct regular internal compliance audits of site(s) in line with the overall audit plan; report on findings and ensure actions are regularly reviewed through to completion.
- Conduct health and safety inspections on focus areas which have been identified within the relevant safety observations/statistics for that site.
- Support, and where required lead investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings in the management system.
- Conduct and review project plans where required for med/high risk activities, to ensure they adequately assess and control risks.
- Attend site/project progress meetings and compliance team meetings to ensure that the compliance team delivers a consistent and unified approach to safety.
- Engage with employees, visitors and clients who are on our sites and ensure that the work is carried out in a safe manner, effectively managed, and controlled, escalating where required safety concerns to the Safety Manager/Senior Leadership Team as required.
- Monitor safety performance using both leading, lagging indicators. Implement practical and effective methods to promote safe working practices in the workplace.
- Develop, plan, and execute emergency response scenarios relevant to the foreseeable risks.
- Identify areas for improvement and work with site leadership

**Requirements**:

- Lead Auditor 14001, 45001 and 9001 or NRSWA Supervisor Qualification
- SSSTS, SMSTS are preferred
- Certification on First Aid at work
- Industry experience gained within a similar organisation
- Analytical and with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Strong Excel Skills
