A vacancy has arisen in the Planning department for a Planning & MI Analyst based at our Sherburn site.
Key Accountabilities within the role are;
- Creating models to be able to translate weekly/monthly forecasts into a headcount requirement vs current staffing.
- Presenting absence & attrition data back to the operation at a granular level which can then be used understand trends.
- Flagging SLA risks & actions that could be taken to mitigate these.
- Reviewing data to understand how key KPI’s are performing against budget & making the necessary adjustments with Impact Analysis completed.
- Reviewing data integrity & ensuring the data capture is accurate before submitting this to internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain, design and develop reporting suite using PowerBI to support the business in driving productivity improvements.
- Looking at streamlining existing reporting and making this more efficient whilst upholding the output.
- Maintaining PowerBI dashboards that can be used to monitor daily performance.
- Reviewing forecast vs actual data to understand trends which can then be applied to future volumes
- Must have excellent stakeholder management skills & the ability to present reports in a professional, standardised, readable format using data visualisation.
- To analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources and present meaningful insight, analysis and recommendations.
- Responsible for maintaining tables on SQL servers and writing code to extract data into reports.
Skills and experience required;
- Previous Resource Planning experience,
- Power BI & SQL experience,
- Analytical Mindset,
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office skills,
- Ability to manage workloads & prioritise where required,
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills,
- Ability to work to deadlines
