**Purpose**

To support Heads of Function (HoFHoF) in the EDFEDF Energy Nuclear Decommissioning organisation as a Personal Assistant (PA).
- To provide pro-active and coherent organisational assistance to Heads of Function in order to optimise their effectiveness.
- To provide a professional interface between the Head of Function and their team, the company and all external individuals/agencies.
- To performs various duties of a responsible and confidential nature, often to deadlines.
- To maintain highly confidential information and files and effectively organise and expedite the flow of work

**Context**

The Nuclear Decommissioning (ND) directorate has been established in EDFEDF Energy to ensure effective delivery of the externally funded decommissioning of the AGRAGR power stations.

The ND Heads of Function will typically have **both** functional/line management responsibility **and** responsibility for delivering or supporting the major programmes of work associated with the decommissioning mission.

The post holder will report to a Head of Function - and may be supporting a number of HoFsHoFs / Senior Managers. They will regularly liaise professionally with other senior managers and key high profile external stakeholders alongside building effectiveworking relationships with departmental team members and other peers across the company.

**Responsibilities and Attributes**

Prepares and Organises - Ensures Head of Function has relevant preparatory information for meetings and workshops, schedules appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences and travel. Organises and maintains confidential files of correspondenceand records, following up on pending matters. Prepares special reports, gathering and summarising data. Prepares complex correspondence, reports and presentations. Attends meetings as and when required, circulating notes & actions when required.

Challenge and Problem Solving - Excellent organisational skills are required to be able to prioritise workload effectively. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to use their own initiative are required on a daily basis to resolve conflicting demandsand accommodate last minute changes to schedules, work and travel arrangements and emergent issues.

- Excellent organisational skills
- People skills: build relationships and maintains high level of mutual trust with the Director / Senior Head of Function and other stakeholders, regularly liaises professionally with other senior managers and key high profile external stakeholders. Quicklyestablishes a rapport with business managers, teams and peers.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, must be capable of communicating effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Recognise the need for and respects confidentiality
- Have the ability to prioritise and organise own work
- Performs well under pressure and work to and achieve deadlines
- Is adaptable to new situations / tasks and quickly assimilates new information
- Works with and supports team members

Please note; if successful you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary ongoing basis with scope for extension. Our client are operating a Hybrid working model, therefore the need to be onsiteonsite a number of days a week is essential but thereis scope to WFHWFH. You will be expected to undertake a drugs and alcohol test as well as be security checked to BPSSBPSS and CTCCTC Level.
