**Your Tasks**
- Provide competent support, advice, and guidance on safety legislation and good practices to all levels of the business.
- Oversee incident and near miss investigations, providing the necessary input to ensure that the true root cause is identified and appropriate preventative action(s) are put in place.
- Plan and undertake safety process audits as per the established audit schedule.
- Undertake and contribute to H&S projects.
- Data evaluation and production of monthly and ad hoc reports.
- Travel to and support other EGGER sites within the Group, including occasional overnight stays as required.
- Write and review internal health and safety documentation.
- Coach other members of the H&S team.
- To represent the department and give competent advise and solutions regarding all CDM projects / activities.
- Plan, manage and interpret statutory compliance reports.
- Deputise for the Hexham Health and Safety Manager.

**Our Requirements**
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Demonstration of professional competence and development through providing evidence of continuing professional development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation and ACOPS.
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
- Passionate about safety with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
- Ability to positively influence others.
- Intermediate standard of IT, including competent use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
