Regulatory Specialist - Wood Protection EMEA_

As a Regulatory Specialist
- Wood Protection EMEA you will be an expert in the regulation of Wood Protection products focusing on the EMEA region. In this role you will operate in a matrix organization working with a team of Regulatory Managers, Specialists and Professionals to deliver a complex regulatory program to meet the strategic requirements of the business. You will lead on the development and implementation of new product innovations and help to provide an efficient regulatory service which is responsive to both internal and external customers.
- This position is located in Manchester, UK but will report to Switzerland._
Essential Job Functions:
- Creating product Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for the EMEA region to ensure regulatory compliance and support customers.
- Creating Summary Product Characteristics (SPSc) documents in IUCLID.
- Assessing the impact of the Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) updates on the classification and labelling of the EMEA Wood Protection product portfolio and develop a clear and effective plan for implementation and communication with the business and relevant functions.
- Managing the amendment of product labels and SDSs in coordination with the marketing department for the amendment of marketing collaterals.
- Processing and tracking of invoice payments from regulatory authorities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, chemistry or other related discipline
- Integrity and a professional approach to work
- Commercially astute and able to explain complex issues to customers and non-experts in a confident manner
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a matrix organization
- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with attention to detail
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly and to assimilate/evaluate scientific data
- Strong influencing/negotiation and communication skills
