We are looking for an experienced chemical regulatory generalist who has EU REACH experience, knowledge of similar global schemes and the ability to be able to research issues, work out costs and strategy and project manage the solution.

The company manufactures a range of high purity chemicals for global markets; the Product Stewardship team is responsible for compliance with EU and global legislation. Duties include:ntracking regulatory changesnassessing the impact of changes on productsnproduct registrationsninteractions with ORs, Consortia and SIEFsnmanagement of external expert consultants.

We are looking for a generalist with:na broad knowledge of chemical legislation (CLP, REACH etc),nthe ability to research and learn application regulations e.g. food contact / automotive etcnsome knowledge of global / US schemes e.g. TSCA.

Having the confidence and ability to research new regulations, regulations you aren’t familiar with, regulatory solutions, costs and to set strategy is very important.

Candidates are likely to have a science / chemistry qualification or background along with current chemical regulatory affairs knowledge. This is a generalist / project management role – you will be setting strategy for regulatory solutions and managing regulatory programmes via 3rd party providers eg SDS authors, REACH consultants, toxicologists etc. This will be a diverse and challenging role – an excellent opportunity to work on a global scale.
